What is the treatment like?

It is similar to a regular acupuncture treatment in that the facial rejuvenation is focused and concise. We do a through intake, talk about your concerns with the way you feel about your face and it's appearance.

I am trained in two styles of Facial Rejuvenation treatments. One is by Virginia Doran L.Ac. and one is by Shelly Goldstein L.Ac. Both of these styles involve a intake and a whole body focused acupuncture treatment, but one is more lifting and needle orientated, while the other focus more on treating the root and using some amazing products with Chinese Herbs in it!

I usually do a combination of the two to fit the needs of the patient. Typically, we will do an acupuncture treatment with some needles in the body and face, then use a deeply hydrating and rejuvenating mask by Nefeli, then do some specific acu-massage on acupuncture points on the face, head and neck that correlate with what results you would like to see. We finish with a warm towel and Nefeli daily moisturizer.

Other times we may do more intra-dermal (meaning really small in the skin) needles and a lifting technique by Virginia Doran, to focus on fine lines and a sagging area of the face. It is also followed by a moisturizing acu-massage with Nefeli Products and a warm towel and finished with Nefeli moisturizer.

How often do I have to come to see results?

Both styles recommend that you come in 10-12 times initially, and follow up every 6 months or so. This is to see a real change and some lasting results. However, there is no one stopping you from getting a little attention on the face whenever you heart desires!
